O původu druhů, aneb Monstra z her |
Jednou, při sepisování Bestiáře, mě napadlo provést lehkou pitvu příšer a protivníků, objevujících se v počítačových hrách, protože právě ze skutečných středověkých Bestiářů, z mytologií a pověstí se do her rekrutuje značný počet monster. Není to zdroj jediný, fauna i flóra vědecky ověřená dostala (mnohdy v hyperbole) také svůj prostor, ale obyvatelé Bestiářů koneckonců kdysi také bývali vědecky ověřenými bytostmi.
Technická poznámka: většina prostudovaných her pochází z kapesních konzolí firmy Nintendo, protože autor zastává názor, že by měl popisovat něco, co sám dobře zná. A že by mohl hodiny drcení tlačítek na gameboyi aspoň nějak zhodnotit. Existuje ovšem množina jistých bytostí, které lze nalézt v mnoha hrách nejrůznějších platforem, pročež není vyloučeno, že čtenář najde staré známé i tam, kde by je nečekal.
